Am I abnormal???

Hi, girls , havent been on for ages as i have been sooooo tired by 6pm ive fell asleep before getting chance to get on comp. I am 19 days post op today and im feeling really crappy. My boobs are softening up everywhere except for a band around the middle,(is this the muscle?) ,and my nipples are just awful they are so dry and no amount of moisturisng makes them any better , i still cant really feel them. On the good side my scars are healing well and i only have one stubborn stitch to finally drop out, oh im such a whinger , i dont know what size i am in a bra iwas told to get 34d and 34dd but the 34 d is leaving marks on my boobs and the dd is a bit empty round the nipple area. Im still quiet uncomfortable in bed and keep waking up which is prob why im soo tired . Ive also got a strange sore feeling down the sides and the middle bit (cleavage ) aches like hell. I am so sorry for moaning on but im trying hard to be NORMAL around my husband and kids. Im not sure my husband actually likes them either and its not helping one bit! I hope you are all having a better time of it than i am ,dont get me wrong i love my boobies totally, i just want to feel normal and possibly sexy instead of sore and grumpy.Anyway take care girls love jue xx

aww hun, sorry you're not feeling brill at the mo......i still get days like that. my chest is still numb and my boobs are still hard, and i'm at 5 weeks post op!!

but i have to say WOW!!!! at your avatar you look fantastic!! your hubby probably doesnt know the right thing to say to you at the moment about your boobs....give it a couple more mths and he won't be able to keep his hands off them

Hiya Jue Just wanted to give you a hug and say...yep,it all sounds normal to me babes! I think it took me a couple of months to totally feel like myself again.
PS. I'll 2nd that "WOW" you look fanboobietastic in your avatar!

It's all normal I had almost exactly the same as you flaky skin, aches and pains, but it does get better, honest.

It's OK to leave marks hun, your support bra should feel snug but not tight across your boobs. If your bra does feel tight, it may be worthwhile trying some bras on for fit babe, maybe a 32DD would fit you better?

You definatley are not on your own, I am 4 weeks post op tomorrow and I keep having days when I am fed up of being uncomfortable, I cant lay on my side properly in bed, so keep waking up and therefore tired, some days my boobs feel harder and number than others, whatever bra I have on is uncomfortable, they dont look nice either at the moment, different sizes and shapes, shall I go on.

Is it all worth it.....Hell Yeah

Don't worry hun, it all sounds normal.

Unders take a while to heal so hang in there.

My OH admitted to me that he didn't like how my boobs looked at first as they were so high but by about 6 weeks post op, once they had started to drop, he loved them! I'm sure your hubby loves them, he is probably just a bit worried about hurting you.
