Got my first checkup with surgeon :)

Hiya,
Im sooo exited i just want to share lol, i have my first app to see my surgeon next wednesday and i cant wait!!! and ive been told i will be able to wear normal bras after but with no underwire, gonna buy them with wire and just take the wire out for now :).
What happens at the appointment? does he tell me how it all went and stuff like that?

Your 1st post-op appointment allows your surgeon to see how your surgery has progressed and to check that there are no complications and to let you know how all the surgery went. It also gives you the opportunity to air any concerns you have and to go through anything you're worried about.
Your surgeon will want to see your new boobs so you'll go through that embarrassing whip ya top off moment and stand like a dummy process LOL, he'll have a squidge to make sure they're nice and soft and settling nicely into the pockets. He may want to take pics also (mine did) and he'll advice you on getting back to normal activities and wearing normal bras if he thinks you're healing well and that's it.

I didn't see a surgeon this early I had to see a nurse first and didn't see my surgeon until 3 months post op. But I was told at my 6 week check that I could wear normal bras and treat my boobs like they were real boobs, we looked over my pre op photos and took some post op ones. I had to lie down on a bed and have my scars checked and boobs squashed and then had a lovely chat to my nurse about how my healing went and what bra size I am now. I must admit when they ask me to take my top off to inspect them I really dont mind where as pre op I just wanted to run out of the room lol.
