So i'm not from london and have no sense of direction etc...... I'm having my op at highgate, is this in the middle of London?????? Is there congestion charges and all that?? What is best do you think? To get hubby to drive to a hotel very near by and leave the car there, or park further out of London and get the tube into the hotel and hosp???? He needs a hotel near the hosp as i just know he will get lost on the tube!!!!!. And i will prob spend most of the time worrying about him getting lost instead of me having surgery!

Hi Len1!

I was at Highgate hospital last week. It took us an hour to get there (maybe a tad over) from Surrey. As Nads says it's North London, so no congestion charge. There was parking at the hospital. Hope that helps hun.
