I have a dent on boob and done something really stupid!!
Not sure how to explain this... my boobs.. Mmm at the bottom there is a dent.. like a stitch holding the skin.. it looks a little weird.. ok it is not bad.. but I know it is there.. I was wondering whether they use desolving stitches or not.. I am just hoping this will go.... has anyone else had this?
Also I have done something really daft... I took the tape off that the nurse put on 1 week after my BA (I saw her Tuesday).. She said it would fall off or I could take it off the next day.. well 2 days later it was still stuck and did not look like it was gonna fall off.. soo I started taking it off.. yikkkesss... slow of course... it got kinda stuck a wee bit and it looked like I was pulling the skin.. so ever to slow I carried on..holding it close to the skin too... and now I have a wee bit of something hanging down.... it turns my stomach to yuck and cringe.. I have soo tried to block it out and now I am gonna have to go to the hospital cos I don't know what to do.. has anyone else had this... wish I had left it.... makes me feel sick.. all I was gonna do was start to use the heal gel if I could... so I was checking to ensure I had no open wounds.... and felt this thing.. I thought is might me a stitch...so pulled a little... yuck... sick.... and now... I just wince at the thought of it or what it is... Blllluuuurrrrr... heeving as I type... not good..... ;-(

oh hunny try not to panic. it does sound like maybe you have an undisolved stitch but as for the other problem I'm not sure. Maybe give NHS Direct a call and they can refer you to your nearest out of hours GP.

I had disolvable stiches and it takes a few months for them to fully disolve. I would definately go to your G.P about the other thing, it is probably nothing to worry about but if its making you feel sick then its best to put your mind at rest hun.

Try not to worry, as the others have said go to the out of hours GP, or has your ps given you an emergency number to call. I'm sure it can be sorted out...you just need to have someone look at it.
The dent sounds like what I have, I asked the ps about it and it is the dissolvable stitches, which will disappear.

Yea I know.. hehe.. thanks everyone.... was having a wobble...I just thought it would pop out... tra la larr kinda thing... but I went to Transform today... they wer good.. waited a bit for 3 mins of docs time... yea.. the dent will disolve.. could take a year thou.. and as for the other yuckie bit.. well it is not yuckie.. just turned me.. but that is likely to be a stitch n some skin.. he said not to worry it will drop off.. lol... it's not big to be honest.. I am making it sound grim... me being a baby... ;-)
Thanks... arrrrr...
Can I ask too..... I seem to swell and then go down and them swell again.. I guess that is normal... but when does swelling go down? how long does it take?

Aw!! meqr!!
Just read this...glad you seen the P.S. and all is better than you imagined...it helps ease the mind having a professional answer and advice.
Swelling can take a few months for all to completly settle, most will go in the first six weeks. But, as you hear the girls saying, they grow/settle some months later...it is the same with swelling...whenever, your own body adjusts to, and excepts the implants and changes that occur internally. You look great by the way...another lovely bra too...take it easy on yourself you sound like you are doing great xx
