consultations
hi peeps
on average how long do consultations last?
reason im asking is ive booked 3 back to back 2.30, 3.30 and 4.30.
2.30 is ok to last the hour as my 3.30 slot is 3 mins away but my 4.30 slot is 25 minutes away from the 3.30 slot which only gives me approx 30 minutes for my 2nd consulation, do they mind if your running a little behind, i hate being late for anything and prefer to be early but it looks like i may have to re schedule the 4.30 slot. xx

Re: consultations
Hi, mine only took half an hour, it depends really on how many questions u ask etc.

Re: consultations
Both of my surgeon consults were short, one was 20 mins, the other was literally only 5 mins. I've heard of girls having ones lasting an hour or more though. I think it must depend simply on the surgeon and/or company.

Re: consultations
I found the co-ordinator from MYA spent quite a bit of time with me, Transform a decent amount of time but not overly long and I have no experience of WGA.
I'd recommend you go back for surgeon consults with all of the companies before deciding though - the surgeon is the most important part as he's the one who'll be operating on you!
Good luck with them though, let us know how you get on

Re: consultations
yeah i agree on the whole surgeon thing, i was going to book an appointment with mybreast but they wanted to charge me £25.00, due to the consultation being with the surgeon himself, instead ive decided to try these 3 then maybe consider mybreast for the last one if im still undecided.
will keep you posted hun xx

Re: consultations
My consultation lasted about 45 mins. I went with MB for exactly that reason - I wanted to skip the PCC and go straight to the surgeon. I think you're probably right - at your first consult you will probably ask more questions although you may be cutting it a bit fine with the last one.
