Probably best to call your ps in the morning and get their advice. I hate toothache - hope it feels better soon x

Unless you have to take antibiotics or other meds you should be ok, but best to check with your ps/clinc

when i went to my preop the nurse was asking if i had caps etc..don't know why
if i tell my dentist i have pain, he will prescribe me antibiotics for the pain and more then after the work on my teeth is done, as theres quite a bit needing redone, i think il try and take as much numbing gel as i can untill a week after op..

hmmm tricky one hunny as someone said something about not getting any dental work done for a while before or after b/a as if it get's infected it can cause problems.
i would get advice from your ps hun tbh not just the receptionist as i doubt they would be able to tell you.
you don't want to take any risks hun.

To the best of my knowledge, the reason they ask about caps on your teeth pre-op is that occasionally during GA they insert a tube into your mouth and they need to know if you have the possibility of any lose caps/crowns.
I hope you get some advice soon, as toothache is dreadful.

yeah angelpie is spot on with that one, sorry i forgot to say that too.
i have crowns at the front and they always have to make sure they are not loose for when they insert the breathing tube.

I would call just to check hunny, my ps asked me as it can apparently increase risk of CC if you get an infection and also as Angel said if you have any crowns etc that may come loose if they insert the tube, hope you get it sorted though toothache is the worst pain.
