Thats how long my ops are and I know you are all probably thinking thats a long while, but for me, its really soon and only just realised!
I think cos of whats been going on with my work etc ive not had time to get excited or even get ready for it!
My manager is off sick with depression, so not even sure she will be back before, so decided im still going ahead! esp with my week of hell! bugger it!
So I know this is probably been put down in other posts, but what do I need to be buying now?
Can you ladies help with with a list? and v pillow-a def must have yeah?
OMG must get me a ticker! Now!

Hi FB, I don't think you need to buy much just yet, but this is what I posted in the 'May Girls' thread when I was getting ready for mine ...
Hee hee, happy to help ladies ... Well I'm not packing much for the hospital, I'll be checking in and out in my black tracksuit and loose ankle ugg boots (nice ....). As a treat to myself I've bought new pyjamas, slouchy socks (because I've heard you can have chilly feet in the night!), slippers, cotton knickers (because then you may not have to wear the paper pants). And I'm also taking a small pillow to protect the new assets from the seatbelt on the journey home ... In my wash bag all I've got is: wipes, toothbrush/paste, handcream, some slap (in case I feel up to putting it on), spare contact lenses and my glasses. Also taking IPod and mags.
BUT in preparation for the immediate aftermath I've bought:
Argos
V-pillow for bed £7.79
Boots
Travel pillow (for napping in the recliner) £4.88
Cuticura anti-bacterial soap (to wash myself the night before as instructed) £1.59
Panadol extra (32) (no codiene easy on the stomach), £2.44
Senokot (20) (to get the bowels moving after the GA - sorry!) £2.06
Dry shampoo (cause moving arms will be tough) £1.95
Breast pads (for bullet nips) £4.65
Asda
Two sports bras: 36 c/d £12
I've also moved my teabags, coffee, mugs etc down from the shelf so I don't have to reach up and can make a hot drink easily (using my travel kettle - keep everything light!). Stocked up on loads of small bottles of water ...
Task for tomorrow: full leg wax and tidy up the lady garden so I don't scare any of the surgical team

Ha Ha, Annie, why would they be looking at your lady garden
Good for you FB, no point putting it off, get it over and done with. Takes ages for them to settle etc so the sooner the better.

I thought that was funny too SB!
Bet you cant wait hunny!! like everyone else said i dont think you will need to buy much just now i suppose you could get your V Pillow and Sports Bras then get all your other bits closer to the time.
Buying sports bras is the best part anyway!! then you can make some rice boobies!! lol
