How many revisions before its time to call quits?
We don't start this journey thinking we will only ever have it done once... but what if you have a revision to then need another revision after a year.?
I had cc in both after 1 yr and have the implants replaced and capsuletomy... 1.5 years later my surgeon says I willostrich likely need it done again in the one breaSt that is going hard and riding high. That will be 3 times under the knife in 3 years.
How many times for you is too many?
I'm seriously debating removal completely

Oh hun that's not good. Would the 2nd time revision be under your aftercare or not?
I would be the same, and consider if it was all worth it. What did your surgeon say, did he give any further advice etc?
I think i would probably be swaying towards just having them out...It would be with a heavy heart of course, but you can't go on like this forever. Its a tough decision.
And one that unfortunately doesn't have much guarentee's.
Good Luck in making your decision.

Yes so as it is still covered I'm going to get it sorted although for the future if I comes back I can't keep having it corrected. It's strange as I dont scar and my scars healed well but it's to do with what your body sees as an invader

It's a tough decision, will your body not just create another cc after this revision, can you change implants to the furies to lesson the reaccurance of cc? Are you planning on having more children? Xx

It may never even get to 3rd degree and may settle at 2nd. Last time my cc was only minor but my p's had under dissected my pocket. I have textured which is meant to lower the risks. As for it reoccurring it's always a risk but every one gets it to a certain point. Usually 1 or 2 grade. I dread yo think what they would look like after an explant

Can't imagine. If I had to explant I would definitely have an up lift and reduce the saggy skin x

I'm not sure I do want one. I'd be gutted. I'm wondering if my surgeon could place the implants under the muscle? Thing is its just the one so would I have one over and one under?! I notice it is only since I've gone on hormonal contraception could that be triggering it?

It may just be coincidence but not studies have ever been done on the link. I was fine until I swapped my copper iud for the mirena one... I wonder if there is a linm

It could be, maybe run it past your surgeon. Something to investigate. Maybe change back to the copper coil and see what happens x

Maybe I'm overacting my p's has said he won't even correct it unless it's stage 3 as they look natural and the one is only slightly firmer than the other. That's why he said come back in 6 months so we will see. I'm not ready to say goodbye to my investmentshortlist yet x
