Got my funds through this morning, Consultation booked for 28th Sept and hes provisionally booked me in for surgery 28 December. It seems such a long time. im going with Professor Simon Kay at Spire in Leeds. Not sure of sizes yet as it all confuses me a bit. I am a small B and wanting a full C I think but will see how it goes.

That's great news!

My advice would be to not look at it in terms of cup size. For one, your idea of a C is very different to everyone else's idea of a C. Secondly, your idea of a C is probably wildly skewed as to what a C actually is! The media makes such a hash of celebrity bra sizes, so while they're telling you Khloe K is a nice 'normal' 36C, shes actually more a 32E. Thats what happened to me too, went in thinking I'd like a nice 36C (because according to the old method of +4/5, i came out 36). Woke up with a pair of 32DD/E's! But its not the size of the bra that matters, its the size and shape of the boob on you, and whether you like it.

Have a good look on the internet before your consult for boobs you like, and boobs you don't. This will help your surgeon to understand what you want to achieve, and he'll be able to make the right suggestions for your body.

I second everything 'The oracle' (I mean [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]!) has said above. Focus more on the 'look' you want.
Size schmize....Honestly.

And try rice sizers are a good idea. They don't work amazingly for everyone..me included. Bu there a good start at getting used to a few different sizes at least.

Congrats - thats really exciting! Looks like we are December buddies then - I'm booked in for 16th. Got a sizing meeting next month but I agree - choosing size is a nightmare! I think you just need to make clear to your surgeon what you want and let him judge to an extent. He asked me what cup size I wanted to be, I told him a D and he's recommended 350cc high profile unders for me. Will get a better idea at my sizing appointment.

Its a long old wait but at least we have this forum! xx

Yeah I have a December buddy. I think I, stuck between a C and D because I've heard a lot about boob greed. will wait for the sizing appointment and see how I feel then. Where are you getting yours done?

I'm getting mine done through Purity Bridge which is a private practice and he does his surgery at the Nuffield in Tunbridge wells.

I know what you mean about boob greed - I can relate to that! But in my head I always thought 350cc max as they are considered 'moderate' rather than 'large' implants so it makes me feel safer! Let us know how it goes on the 28th! x

Congrats mrskelly. I found the rice sizers a foundation as to what I wanted in terms of look. Pictures helped and I actually think I have the boobs from my fav wish pic. Best of luck xx

Mrskelly to you too. my implant is slimed polyuthene (furries) conicals. I was a c cup to start and my PS is amazing. I went with the Spire in southend Essex. Just to give you the specs. But as Charlii pointed out every one is different. If you like the look of the conicals mention them at your next consult, they seem to becoming a bit more popular xx

I'm with Charlii, I said full c to small d, although I knew I couldn't just go and specify cup size lol my surgeon said the 285cc moderate profile that I had I should achieve a small D. I actually measure a 28F/FF but definitely don't look how you would imagine an F to look. Forget about cup size for now and focus on how you want them to look on your body, that will be easier when you try on some sizers. Also, maybe get together a little album of pictures of looks you like and some you don't, so you and your surgeon have the same vision. I said to mine " I want what I should have been given by nature....but a bit bigger as I'm paying for them" lol x x

Thanks Jen, I already have loads of pictures on my phone ( I've had to stop my son playing on it as he's a bit nosey too and likes looking through my pics) I feel like all I do lately is look at boobs. I don't know what I'm going to do with my time after its done. Lol. Xx

I was supposed to end up with a nice E according to the surgeon and am a FF. best thing to do is take pics in to show what you like. I'm very happy with mine and wouldn't want them any other way xx

Thanks Anne, I have lots of pictures to take with me. i'm obsessed with boobs lately. even watching tv I am just looking at the boobs. Don't seem to be getting anything done at work. Cant believe my consultation is Monday finally fells like im getting closer.

so because i'm getting new boobs ive let my hubby get a motorbike. so it's all boobs and bikes in my house.
we sit on a night on our ipads him showing me bikes and me showing him boobs. i think he's getting the better deal there. i don't want to see his bikes but suppose i have to show some interest.

That's good to know the boob obsession calms down Twinky. Seriously beginning to worry about how many hours in the day I spend thinking / looking at boobs. When on holiday I'd say to my husband 'I'm just going to have a stroll along the beach' and he'd accuse me of just going on a 'boob cruise' - checking out boobs and bikinis along the way. How dare he accuse me of such a thing... Like I would do that ;-) !!! Xx
