Hi all

I'm having my removal & replacement on Friday!!
Having 420cc low or 505cc med pure silimed polyurethane ROUND implants!
I'm replacing my 300cc low prof eurosilicone 11 yr old implants ,

Can't really remember how it all goes so any good tips are welcome :-)

Will try & update on Friday at some point !

Well I'm all done now & resting . Pains not too bad at the moment & all the staff are lovely .

Update later :-)

Blush- I decided to replace my old implsnts as they where getting old (11yrs) & starting show wear & tear signs, my left had gone a bit smaller too , I wanted a good implant too as my old ones where standard euro silicone .

Can anyone share what they where told re: using arms/ pushing myself up etc?

One nurse said I was ok to push myself up using my arms , but the next one said I shoud try & avoid doing that ???.

Could you use your pectoral muscle 1st day post op?? I've got overs xxxx

Hiya! That's exactly what I've been wondering too, be good to hear what others have been advised. I think you are supposed to use your stomach muscles as much as possible when moving / changing position? Xx

I'd absolutely avoid it, regardless of placement. Get those core muscles working! You wouldn't lift heavy shopping, so why should you lift yourself. It'll hurt, nevermind the risk of popping a stitch. Stick with the butt shuffle, and using your legs to kinda anchor yourself upright!

I done that afew times but didnt do no damage so far!
I hope your healing well.. Start using them tummy muscles! Even now i dont use my arms getting up as i gotused to bum shuffling and hoisting up using my gut! Xxx

You should not really use your arms to push yourself up at this stage. Get your tummy muscles doing the work xxxx
