A little tip for you post OP peeps...

my mum has just bought me a heat pack from superdrug, it's like a little pillow with beans in, pop itin the microwave for a minute then wrap around your neck - I cant reccomend it enough.... I'm sat with it on now and it's so relaxing after the aching from sleeping on my back since the op.

I think it was only abou £3 too!!

We have some hot/cold packs that D got from amazon for his BBall injuries. You can either freeze them, or nuke them for a warm pack. Just regular gel stuff, no lavender. Physique Management Company physique.co.uk

Alternatively there are disposible heat packs that stay hot for 8-12 hours and stick on to you. Thermacare is one brand.
