Halter neck?
I'm nearly 3 weeks post op and I have my best mates hen do next Saturday which I'm maid of honour. We're off to the races and finding a dress is a nightmare as it's sunny and I'm in a binder for at least another 3 weeks. Does anyone know if I'm able to criss cross the back of my M&S high impact so I can maybe wear a halterneck dress??? It won't be ideal but running out of options?? The bra's adaptable but don't want to effect my healing xx

Re: Halter neck?
All the support in your bra should be coming from the band. You should be able to take the straps down and have it stay in place and supported. HOWEVER if you change the shape of the bra, it may affect the healing this early, nevermind it being uncomfortable. I'd say you might get away with adding a racer back clip to it. But obviously as a responsible mod here, my official stance is don't do it, keep the support bra and binder in place for the best possible healing
I would look for cheap and cheerful. New Look, BooHoo, something you wont mind binning after one go.

Just a couple quick suggestions :)

Good call charlii! You know u say all the support comes from the band... Well my macom, the band is so thin I can just put my finger up its so slack, I showed my nurse at my 2 week check n she just put it on the tighter clips but it hasn't really made a difference. It fits but the band is kinda baggy!! Should I bin it?? x

Re: Halter neck?
The macom is different because it's all over compression and should be firm against you all over. I'd check the size. Your swelling should be down by now, get a tape measure around your band. Whatever you measure, that's you. I'm 31", so wear a 32, and a small macom on tight fits perfectly. You should still get a couple finger in, but not saggy.
If it's not the right size anymore, you could always sell it 2nd hand on here to someone looking for a bargain!
