Thanks ashleejay! I can't believe it's tomorrow for you. 
I think it's totally normal to be scared cos it's a choice we are making to have the surgery. Are you still confident you want to go ahead or are you having second thoughts? 
What time do you need to go tomorrow? Xx

Im not sure to b honest! I want it so BAD but didnt have v good dreams ablut it last night! I no its normal so just got to b brave!!x x i have to be there at half 9 :)

Yeah thats perfectly normal to feel scared and anxious [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Just got to remember what prompted you to book it and if you was to cancel how would you feel not having it done! Nothing to worry about, just keep yourself busy today to keep your mind off of it :-) xx

My confirmation date and bits and bobs of information have arrived today. 
I'm slightly nervous when I think too hard about it.
People on here keep mentioning a v pillow. What's it for?

Hey [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] i know the feeling.. Mine come in the post beginning of the week and it defo hit me then! That im getting boobies!
A v pillow, search it on google.. its used for pregnancy of post surgery. For breast surgery we would use it to rest against when sleeping to help keep us upright rather than laying flat xx

Thanks girls id b right up s**t street without u! I have my nans old V pillow so have a bit ofcomfort in that! just got an email from hospital with the last bits of paperwork to fill! Eeek ! Its really happening!! X x

I had a really good consult today, felt really reassured (I had my first laying in bed thinking about it for hours last night so was getting a bit anxious) but all good. All questions answered - I literally asked EVERYTHING! Full anatomical explanation of muscle cuts for unders and position, type of stitches, method of stitching, you name it he got asked it! Think he liked it though - he was like 'GOOD questions today, very good'!! Nice to take an interest :). 

How is everyone doing - nervous or just excited now???

Skates that sounds great! I will be grilling mine next week too! I got my first bit of nerves yesterday when I noticed it was 2 weeks exactly until my ba, but the nerves passed and I'm just excited again now ..I am trying not to think about it though as I have spent so much time thinking about it and it makes me anxious! 

I'm happy with my surgeon so now I'm just going to take it easy and chill out about the whole thing until my next consult with her on the 7th :) then after that it will only be a week away woohoo!xo

I think it's so important to be well informed, after all this is a choice we are making not a necessity. I bet a lot of people go in blind though just charmed by a good offer and price!
Really great that you're comfortable with him and really satisfied by the sound of it skates.
I'm full of butterflies everytime I think of it...so pretty much all the time. 
I am SO ready for it now.

Yes I totally agree, I had surgery on my hip last year and although I knew EVERYTHING about the surgery, I didnt really ask much about the weeks after and it was awful not knowing what was right or wrong or what to be worried about. I was in a lot of pain which I really wasnt prepared for so it was a real learning curve about recovery and how the body deals with it all. 

Although being on here and reading all the blogs and stories has really helped me to prepare for what it will be like - its good having all this info and then being able to ask informed questions to satisfy any niggles. 

You are in the day before me Wildflower - have you decided on size yet? I was left alone in the room with the sports bra and ALL the different sizes so I went wild in aisles trying them all out yesterday. It was great fun although I did feel like a kid messing around in mums underwear with MASSIVE boobs, prancing about in the mirror!

Hey girls  :) went in at about 11 then when i came round sleept prerty much all day i had loads pf GA and morphine poor boobies stretched so much! Its like someone sitting constantly on ur chest!!xx how is everyone else doing

So pleased to hear from you. I've kept checking all day! Are you in a lot of pain?  Have you managed to have a peek at them? Xx
