Has anyone taken out the BAAPS insurance?
Has anyone taken out the aftercare insurance for baaps surgeons? I read the sticky but still undecided. Forgot to ask surgeon before op but mentioned to him last night and he said I was welcome to take it out but none of his other patients have ever done so. I'm covered for 1 year through spire and he said he looks after his patients very well in the long term (I think this is in an unofficial basis). He said most problems generally arise during the first year or from 7 years onwards, in which case it would not be of use. But obviously it provides added assurance so it's up to me!

I'm not really too sure on it, but I think there's a sticky re the details. I think if you can afford it, why not. Extra insurance couldn't be a bad thing, right?

Thanks charli, I'll give it some thought and read through the terms. I have the money so might go ahead, although would rather spend it on new bras!! I guess my main concern would be cc. Not sure when this is most likely to occur though!

My surgeon is BAAPS registered and comprehensive cover is part of the whole op package
