New dressings? Empty New dressings?

Post by Squidgy 12th May 2014, 2:14 pm

I have updated my picturetrail so it shows my dressings today. Could someone please go over and take a look and tell me whether they think I need my dressings changed before Thursday? Maybe I'm just worrying but I don't think they should have that much blood on them, x

At work, so cant take a peek. Unless the blood is leaking wet through the dressings, they're fine. If you remove them now, you'll re-open the wound and leave it susceptible to infection. I think unless they're wet and bleeding through, you'll be ok. If it does start bleeding through though, call your clinic immediately.

Just had a look Hun..it's looks like fairly dried blood to me but hard to really tell by picture....I had some fresh blood on mine when i came home but think that was from the drains that were taken out..

Have they been bleeding a lot?? X

Thanks charlii and cheekymich. I think it's drying now, there was fresh blood until Saturday but I don't think it's got any worse today. It was mainly the right nipple that was worrying me because it looks yellow. On the plus side, I've hardly got any pain at the moment Smike
