Blood Spots
Hi
I'm probably in a panic for nothing but I have just come home and noticed some spots of blood on my tape and my bra. I am a week post op. Is this normal?
Thanks
Xx

Yes. Until the scars/scabs are fully healed, its normal to see a couple spots. As long as its just a couple spots and nothing heavier/yuckier, its fine.

Phew! Thanks ladies that makes me feel so much better - what a relief. I had visions that everything was about to pop out.

Re: Blood Spots
I had a couple of spots of blood on my dressings after a week. When I went for my incision check they said (and they certainly looked like they were) that my incisions were healing really well x

Re: Blood Spots
Spotting is absolutely fine. Unless your dressings are sodden there's no reason at all to be concerned. Just don't disturb the dressings at all. If you disturb your dressing you could open up the wounds, so leave well alone sweetheart and as long as its only spotting its all good. Xx
