Re: odd shaped boobies!
it depends but some girls have some very strange looking swellings going on and then once they go down are amazing. some don't have much at all...
Best having a look at some 1 day post op pics to get an idea of different looks you may get. :) xx

Re: odd shaped boobies!
Yeah I saw a few and though if I woke up with them and no idea how they might have looked I would have freaked out big time... Thanks to this forum we can all be a little more prepared than if we were going our journey alone.
I was lucky and had very little swelling and they haven't changed all that much from day one! xx

Haha yes you're right, babe! Your boobs might look so uneven and maybr even quite scary at first! When i looked at mine the first thought that popped into my head was 'they look like two aliens popping off me' hahaha.. I still loved them instantly though! They will change so much - one might swell up a lot more than the other, one might drop a lot quicker or one might be very bruised.. Treat them as two separate operations and definitely don't get worried when they start looking uneven. Remember that they will eventually settle the same :) xxxx

Re: odd shaped boobies!
yeah def like Tiger said, one might swell the other might not but keep it in your head that even though its done at the same time it is 2 different operations xx

Re: odd shaped boobies!
You can get the 'frankenboob' immediately after the op, they just don't look normal at all. Mine were almost square. But its just your skin and muscles holding them high and tight, as its not yet natural for your body. This is where dropping comes in, the skin and muscle will slowly stretch out and release, and allow for it to sit in its pocket correctly. It takes a lot of patience, and especially just after the GA you can be very emotional. You just have to keep looking to the other side of things when you'll have beautiful new boobs.

Oh the fartyboobs is good fun too! All the airbubbles trapped squelching around! It all dissipates naturally into your body after about a week though. Just weird when you move your arms!
