They most certainly will be a different size! If you measure 31chest, then you're likely a 32band, so thats a good start. As for your cups...well, we wont know until you're measured properly. But theyre looking pretty fab already! Dont worry about a 'size' or looking 'huge'...they will fit and suit your body, regardless. You read a lot on here "but I dont look like an E/F/G cup". Its altered perceptions. A friend of mine said i dont look like a DD/E, but thats what Im wearing, so I must be!

What have you been told by your surgeon? Are you allowed to bath/shower? If he's said 24hr for X weeks, then thats what he means. Once you've the all clear to shower, then yeh you can take it off for that, but get straight back in it once you're all dried off.

Mine is to be on all the time, apart from adjusting for comfort , I am sure my ps said wash "around" it...But all have different things they like, give them a call hun to be sure what is recommended for you.

Personally I would say keep it on for your first week. If anything, its an extra barrier to keep the dressings dry if you accidentally splash. Check your notes, and if its not written down, give your clinic a call. They should have given you post op instructions. e.g. mine were compression band 24/7 for 6wk, sports bra 24/7 for 8, plus first wound appointment at about a week. Then the nurse let me know when I could shower and change the dressings etc. Yours will be tailored for you. Its tricky to remember everything when you're still a bit groggy from the GA!

Agree you will most likely be bigger hun :)

I kept my sports bras on constantly for the 1st few weeks, even in bath/shower, only took them off for a wash, dry and clean one. I'm nearly 3 months post op now so I don't need to be wearing mine 24/7 any more... But I kinda feel weird without one on ! It's funny how quickly you get used to wearing them xx
