the bloat has banished!
Hi, girls!!
I just wanted to update you on my.progress a bit! My dreadfully.bloated belly has finally shifted after a week! I'm starting to see my old belly again so i'm really happy about that! I also went out for the first time today since my op. I went for a 20 minute walk in the park which was so lovely! It was great to get some fresh air and stretch my muscles a bit. I seem to be standing very hunched though.. I have quite a hunchback still! Is this normal haha?
I get my plasters taken off on Monday so i'm excited about that!
Oh and i'm taking less pain killers now, yay!
My boobs still get very tender and sore in the morning and night though.. All part of the healing process i guess!

Re: the bloat has banished!
Hunching is just your body's natural instinct to protect yourself babe... As your healing progresses, so will your posture. If you try and focus on posture everyday and try and stand tall, this does help too. If you have any back problems also the hunching doesn't help so stretching out your back is really helpful for that also.
Morning boob (which can happen at any time) is something you may have to deal with for a few weeks yet (possibly) its just swelling babe and you'll find if you over do things then your boobs will let you know about it in this same way.
Glad the Buddah belly has gone though. Its horrid waking to see a rounded stomach isn't it and it can make you feel fat when you're not at all. I felt 4 months pregnant with mine! Lol.
You sound like you're having a really good recovery though and I'm very happy for you Toni. Xx
