Re: Massaging with Bio Oil
Have you been given the go ahead to do this? I only ask because often you arnt allowed until at least 6 weeks and it affects your healing if you do it before your allowed...
If you have been given the go ahead then you just rub it in in circular motions along the length of your scar xx

Only 'massage' your boobs if you've been told to by your surgeon. Youve had textured implants, so you dont want to massage them in order to let them adhere to the pocket. Gently moisturising them is fine.
As for your scars, double check, but THG normally say 4wk is fine, so long as the wounds are fully closed. Just a circular or side to side motion is fine all along the scar line, nothing fancy. You dont necessarily need bio oil, just a lubricant to help the motion.

It says in the aftercare book from THG that it is ok after 4 weeks. The wound is all closed up now. I dont see my surgeon until 12 weeks x

Well in that case like charli says you can massage if you like then :) if its healerdI was told to rub in circular motions along the length of the scar and if I remember right to add a little pressure... However I've never massaged mine xx

Re: Massaging with Bio Oil
I'd personally rather have a wound check before starting to massage Laura.
There's no hurry, massaging them now isn't going to make them look any better than their final result babe, so if it were me, I'd hold off, have your wound check and then start massaging if you want to.
But that's me... I'd rather ALWAYS be safe. Xx

Re: Massaging with Bio Oil
I would defo advice speaking to your clinic first, perhaps email pics to your PC? 6 weeks is the general rule of thumb for bio oil.
Also, massage is more something that is reccomended for ladies in the US who have smooth implants, it's not advised for those with textured which is all that is used in the UK so I would avoid doing breast massage.
