morning all

surgeon just called to say my admission time is 12noon which is fab, I asked him to try and get me a later theatre slot so Im not rushing about in the morning etc, want to try stay calm

I can eat til 6am so I called my hotel to ask when they start breakfast they said 7am booooo I explained im having an op and can eat til 6am could they make me a sandwich the night before and they said that wasnt a prob, so I will wake at 5am have that and hopefully get another few hours sleep

Yay! That's great! I was going to suggest maybe a macDonalds brekkie. Your hubby could maybe pop out for it for you both, but that's kind of the hotel to do that for you.

Ooh, exciting! Your so lucky you can have an early morning brekkie, definitely have a sandwich on hand! Thats what I did at 11pm the night before! Not long now :)

See I'm the opposite, I'd rather have an early morning slot as then I can get it outta the way and for the rest of the day recover, nothing worse then being awake and worrying about it! Hoping I get picked up middle of the night right ready for morning slot! Will get that call in 4 days! eeeek!

yeah cookie def looking forward to a wee night on my own however I will miss him and the kids

I, so glad that I have the later admission time to so that I can get about without rushing etc
