Is pain normal?

Hi,
I had 330cc unders about 10 weeks ago now. My right breast has been great..no problems but my left breast was more painful after op and has taken longer to drop etc. over the last couple of weeks it's begun to hurt again, not intense pain but more of an ache that I'm aware of most the time. It hasn't hardened and I can't even really pin point where the pain is but it's worrying me now as the right breast is causing no pain! I can even feel it breathing in and out heavily! Is this normal as I'm still early on in my recovery?

Very normal :) remember you had two seperate operations so it's very normal to have a bit more pain in one breast... I found that my boobs also ached if I wasn't getting enough support from my bra and around the time of my period (im 6 weeks post op) xxx

Ok, that actually is making sense as I am in quite a bit of pain today but due my period and also didn't wear bra to bed last night which I usually do! It's so nice to talk to people going through the same thing, thank you. xx:giveu:

Aww no problem! Yes going braless will take some getting used to overnight... I'm due on also so am making sure I'm well supported but members here say they feel odd aches and pains even months down the line! Glad you found us! Xx

You boobs will go on healing Holly for up to a year hun and you may have times were you feels aches. This seems to occur especially if you have overdone thing?

Maybe started back at the gym? Maybe doing something like lifting something heavy? Anything that's putting pressure on your boobs that you haven't taken time to build up slowly could cause the pain you describe sweetie...

Always remember, you boobs may look good and all healed on the outside... But on the inside the healing continues for a lonnnnnnnng time yet and at just 10 weeks post-op you really still are very early days hun. Xx

I have a nineteen month old son who is super heavy so maybe I'm lifting him to much ( although not much I can do about that really). Getting so used to them being there now that I do forget it's still early days! Wish I'd had them done years ago, best thing I ever did!

Awwww yes, it is difficult when you have little ones.

The trick is how you lift though... If you're lifting with your arms you're putting a heck of a lot of pressure on that upper body hun, but if you hold them them in close to you and lift them with you instead of just your arms it does lessen the pressure and you may find that helps. Xx
