hi girls
 i had my capsulectomy 5 days ago on my left boob i had a drain put in afterwards,wen the nurse pulled the drain out it sent a sharp pain down my arm and it hasn't felt the same since :( my ps said maybe the drain was on or near a nerve but in time will get better.it really aches today.i forgot to ask my ps if theres anything i cud do to make it feel better? so has anyone got any advice on what to do? also I'm stopping my codine now cus i think i mite b starting to be a little reliant on them and im not in that much pain anymore.its just my arm and the wound that r bothering me :(

Massage.

If you massage the location where you feel the pain is actually coming from it will help Natty.

Nerve problems are very common post-op and generally more painful when the swelling is at it most so it will be compressing the nerve and sometimes as you're finding it does affect the arm babe.

As the swelling subsides you will feel the pain subsides too and massaging the point of pain will also help lots lovely.
