Hypersensitive Nips!
Hi girls
Just wondering if any of you had hypersensitive nipples after your BA and if so how long did it last? I read pre-op that this could happen but didn't think much of it, now 2 weeks on my nips feel like they have had sand paper rubbed over them for about an hour. I'm so uncomfortable, have tried putting soft things in my sports bra but they are not actually sore, I guess its just nerve pain but its agony and makes me want to take my bra off while I'm at work and sit at my desk starkers to get rid of the ache ! lol
as usual .. any advice would be much appreciated !
Thanks
Anna

Re: Hypersensitive Nips!
Hi x
I was the same, except one totally numb (still is) and the other super hyper sensitive, so much so it hurt
It's a bit better now, but still gives me jip from time to time x
Like Nat I used nursing pads in my bra for the first 3 weeks
Hope it gets better soon

Mine were super sensitive for a good few weeks hun, felt awful even when clothes rubbed against them, they ached. Then it eases off and they start feeling more normal x

Thanks girls, I had read about it but not thought much of it .. they are sooo sore and like you've all said even when my clothes touch them its awful. I think I'll get some nipple sheilds and see if that helps .. look foward to them getting back to normal! think my oh is too, he's desperate for a good feel ! haha
