Infection! : (

Hey Girls,

My right incision is infected, i've been put on antibiotics, it looks like I have a hole in my incision, the scar is going to be awful, it's so painful, the meds are making me ill and then I had an allergic reaction to the new dressing they put on it... SO FED UP... regretting my BA completely

It'll be OK. You're on anti-bs now so they're going to help zap the infection.

I know what its like babe and I know how hard it is but it IS going to get better, so don't doubt that babe. It may seem hard right now, but each day its going to get easier and easier.

Be sure to take things easy hun. I'm guessing you're unable to shower again and have to keep the wound dry?

If you just do as you're instructed babe and just take every day a day at a time it'll feel so much better hun.

Big hugs for you and we're here if you need us. There are a few of us that have dealt with infection and allergic reactions hun, so if you do have any concerns just ask away babe. Xx

Aw Thank you so much Cookie, I've got another appointment with my surgeon tomorrow, hopefully he will make me feel better too xx

Infection isn't uncommon Emily, but for the majority of women they go on to heal VERY well after it. Xx

aw sorry to read this hun, but try and see it as just a minor bump in the road on your boobie journey, not something that should make you regret the whole journey hun!
the anti b's will sort you out soon enough don't you worry.

hope the pain subsides soon and you can start enjoying your boobs again x

Emily keep positive I know it's hard I have been having slight backward steps with the bleeding where's the incisions under the breast crease? Don't worry it won't be bad hun you need the sterile non stick gauze this is why I was told helps to heal and dry out check with your nurses first and fingers crossed all sorts itself out at least you caught it soon and your being looked after xxx

Awww like everyone said it's a minor bump in your big journey. Fingers crossed it goes ASAP and you can concentrate on being happy with them bad bra shopping xx
