If u all have an experience like my first you'll love it!! I'm not nervous about the op at all this time, just about what happens if it doesn't feel right after this re-op! You'll all love it its awesome!! Xx

My first op has just made me nervous about the outcome , I look forward to the actual op, am just hoping I wake up and love my boobs this time, 3rd time lucky for me I hope! :-) xx

Hey dillydally - I'm about 45 minutes away from the hospital...so not far - how funny we're both having mr khan and also have same age kids - what cc are you doing for? Very excited now! 3 more sleeps! Keep having crazy dreams! Yeah I think I'm the first at the moment? Xxx

I hope we all have really good recoveries!
I'm not lookin forward to not being able to do much afterwards my partner has a week of and then il be on my own with my two boys :( xx

I looked everywhere for gel pads wilkinsons Tesco Asda matalan dunelm mill pound land couldn't find them anywhere... Ended up buying a bag of frozen peas just in case lol going to go vest top shopping tomorrow so will hunt around again xx

Talking of crazy dreams I keep having them Too! Last night I dreamt they were actually square, like with sharp edges Lol!

I got gel packs on amazon.

Actually last night was first night of no weird dreams - on the 7 day countdown my mind was going crazy!! Lol! I just ordered 4 gel ice packs from amazon and I have a feeling I've gone a bit overboard by spending £15 on 4 of them! They're bigger ones too so I'll probably only be using one at a time and just move it around different areas. Went into panic buy last night! Good luck on your pre op today JOdioc xxxx

I do actually Katie - just my bra I probably need to get another one of as I only have one and just a bit worried about it being slightly too low for the incisions. Certainly got enough donated magazines to sink a small ship! Xx how are you feeling on 6 day countdown? Any jitters?

That's really good you feel prepared! I have everything sorted really so I am prepared in that way but not mentally yet I am so nervous lol. Doesn't seem real at all prob won't till I'm at the hospital lol xx

Had pre-op today...was expecting them to take bloods which i hate but they didn't...said no need. Just took urine and mrsa swab. was told boobies will be strapped down for a week, gutted i won't get a proper peek for another whole week! pleased i don't have to take all my gel nails off tho...just the forefinger!

Glad ur pre op went well :) I don't have to have bloods taken either which I was happy about! Good about ur nails as well I stopped gettin mine done a few weeks ago I can't wait to get them done again will be my first "treat" when I feel up for it xx

mine will look naff with one missing but mine are so rubbish without them on they will all break if i take them off! luckily one of my besties does them so i am hoping she will pay me a personal visit!!

it's so they can check your nail beds to keep an eye on oxygen levels....she actually said id depends on the anethesist, she said the one i am having is fine to keep them on, as they can check using earlobes or something too, but she said it wouldn't hurt to take the forefingers off

Hey jodioc glad your pre op went well - does it all seem real now? :) Katie - I think I've literally only just started to chill about Friday from day 7 run up to now day 2 run up I've been pooping myself! Now I really can't wait and work tomorrow is gonna drag like a mutha :) xx

it seems really real now - handing over the money was what did it i think! i can't actually believe I am getting this done all of a sudden!! i can't wait to hear your stories girls who are just before me...are any of you staying in overnight? do any of you know if you are having drains (i am)? i bought myself a button up nightgown after tips on here, but then today the nurse said it would be best if its sleeveless as more comfortable for the drains, so not thinking of just have a baggy loose vest?

Jodioc - I'm a day case and not having drains but I got told a vest top that I could step into and pull up would be a good idea to put on to go home in. I know what you mean about once paying it seeming real that's how I felt!

I'm staying in overnight and have been told I'll have drains. I bought dry shampoo the other day and found some really good re-usable ice packs in wilkinsons. They were really cheap and large so could probably lay one over both boobs! Vest top idea sounds good. X
