Quick question... Swelling is setting in... Can I taken ibrufen along with my paracetamol and tramadol? X

I wasnt allowed ibrufen was told it can cause a bleed. call ur clinic and ask but xx

Ah ok, I did question why I didn't get any anti inflammatory meds sent home with me. So just to naturally wait for it to go down then? X

I wasn't allowed ibrufen either! Have you tried Ice packs to help with the swelling? X it will go Hun, but can take a while xx

Thanks chick, I'll ride it out, just mainly under my pits.

Also... My boobs are still completely numb... Is this normal and how long until I can feel them again? Feels like I'm gripping someone else's boobs ha v.strange sensation x

Lol x Yeah the numbness is normal Hun x can take up to a year for that to go x it's usually much quicker though!

Ibrufen is a blood thinner lovely and right now to encourage the wound to heal you're wanting the blood to clot to make the scab to heal the wound so its not advisable to be taking any anti-inflamatories lovely. To help the swelling ice-packs help enormously! Just don't put them near your incisions. Xx

I took brufen and was fine, I didn't have tramadol tho x

Thanks, that makes sense about the thinning so will leave it. I'm just taking 2 tramadol, 1 morning and night to take the edge off, but assume iv got the worse bit to coming... ? X

i was given loads of ibuprofen at the hosp and sent home with a pack of strong ones too! meds? ...  267328 BUT, if your clinic didn't give it to you then i wouldn't take it xx and for me, day 2&3 were the worst xx

So strange we are all given different advice. I had the same surgeon as you in the same hospital & was given Tramadol, paracetamol & ibuprofen & told take it if I needed to but no more than 3 a day! I didn't take it though stuck to the other 2 given.
