Post by HDhariwal 12th March 2013, 7:34 pm

I'm still having such trouble with deciding what size to choose, I have been offered 445cc, 485cc and 560cc. I have ruled out the 560cc as I dont want to be huge, now I cant choose between the two sizes. I dont want to get the smaller size and wish I went bigger.

Do any of you ladies wish you had gone bigger?

I was choosing between 270 and 300 and on the day went for 300 and I'm glad i did as they're perfect for my frame but on the flip side it's harder to rectify if you go bigger to start with and wish you haddent but I'm glad I went for the bigger xx

You've answered your own question there, you don't want to regret not going for the bigger size out of the 2. But like Char said, it's easy to go bigger with a second op. A reduction is not so simple, plus the bigger you go, the more chance of rippling and complication. It's a tough one. And to answer your question, I had the biggest I was offered so can't regret not going bigger as I couldn't have. I'm happy x

I wanted by boobs to look natural after my op in the hope that people wouldn't notice I had had it done. I asked for a b/c cup and came out a b. as happy as I am with them I always wished I had been a bit bigger and just asked to be a c cup. They need replacing now and have told the surgeon that this time I want a full c cup and am trusting him to do this. If you are starting to think that the size you have chosen may not be big enough don't leave it until its too late. Maybe show your surgeon photos of the look you want.

Post by Ballet babe 12th March 2013, 8:41 pm

HI, I was offered 390 by my PS, and went home feeling a little upset (I thought 400-450 would be ideal), so I went to see him again about size and he agreed to the 420s by going a little wider but not increasing the profile. Hopefully this will look nice! But at any rate, I can never be unhappy or think "what if" as I am getting the biggest he will let me with my uplift. I do think about possible complications with a biggish implant but I know I didnt want to do this for a b/c cup in the end. Think about what u want, but if its down to 2 sizes, I would say take the bigger! (but thats just me!!!) x

When I first went to my consultation with the surgeon I choose he let me try 380cc 340cc and 320cc and I LOVED the 380cc but then he took more measurement and we discussed the pics etc I took in and he said we should go for 365cc and that he didnt think that he would get much more in but he would take all the sizes to theatre

He only managed to get the 365cc implant in so I know that I couldnt be any bigger but next time i will def be going bigger xx

No I decided against 375 on the day, mine feel amazing and I think they look better from not being stretched. For me feel is more important than an extra inch but it's preference x

Absolutely not. I wished I'd gone smaller. I've already reduced my breast size when I had a re-op and plan to do so again when I have my next.

Still feel my boobs are too big for me. X

I don't wish I had gone bigger, although I probably could have got away with 460cc but I'm also glad I didn't go any smaller, I'm glad I trusted my surgeon. Maybe go back to the clinic to try on the implants again, I did and it made me feel so much better before my op xx

I havent told many people about my BA. I wanted natural looking boobs & thats what i got 32e full and perky boobs which look just the right size in a bra. But out of a bra i wish i went bigger. I always used to say id only ever ask for a C maybe a D if i ever had them done and now im here wanting Fs or FFs lol. Mine look smaller than people of the same cup size & i think its down to mine being anatomicals im not sure. In the long run its prob best to start smaller and increase on further ops down the line than to go big from the start :)

I wish I had done more research and didn't want the "DD" look as the DD look is nothing I thought it was! I had 380 and wish I had gone bigger, I think 460/510 would look fine on me! xx

Post by TSmith 14th March 2013, 3:51 am

im very happy with my size! i let my surgeon choose what looked best in theatre and just found out what i got once i came around... Surprised me though as she said it was only going to be around 300cc (smaller breast) but ended up getting 365cc - i did however have to go back to get it filled to 435cc to match the left breast. I only wanted a FullC/D cup but turned out an F !! Love the look so im happy. Its all about the LOOK and not the MEASUREMENT. Trust your surgeon and it should be sweet. Like its been said earlier, its easier going bigger next time then smaller plus you can always get a good bra to make them look va va voooom! hehe

Did you try them on? I had the same dilemma, the smaller ones I tried on were not much bigger than the padded bras I wear so went for the next size up (410). My other half also took pics of me wearing the implants so I kept looking at them to make the decision final. The pcc also said people generally wish they'd had the courage to go bigger. My ops on Sunday so will let you know if iv made the right choice next week!
