Dressing gown
I'm sorting out my hospital bag I'm a overnight stay, I want to try and keep things to a minimum as I dont want to take a really big bag. Did you ladies use your dressing gown? is it an essential item?

A pillow to put between your boobies and the seatbelt for the ride home is a good idea! It made my journey home much more comfy xx

Re: Dressing gown
I took mine and was so glad I did, I walked down to theatre in it and it was one less hospital thing I didn't have attached to me made me feel better for having my own. I also felt so cold when I came round and my big pink fluffy dressing gown was all I wanted lol xx

Re: Dressing gown
I wouldn't bother taking a dressing gown your room will be very warm and toasty that your hospital gown will be sufficient. In fact I remember even in October I had to have the window open for some air!
The hospital will supply the socks and knickers Hun x

I'd take a light one with you. The hospital supplied me with a gown when I had my first and second op (Transform) to walk down to theatre in, but had I not had a gown I'd have used my own rather than walk with my backside hanging out walking to theatre lol. X
Re: Dressing gown
I didn't take one and didn't need one at any point either.
I think I brought a bum-covering cardi in my bag in case the gown was too revealing, and it didn't take up much space, but I didn't use it.
The gowns these days generally double over at the back anyway, and once I felt like getting up I just put my clothes on. x

I was also given a gown by them, and some slippers haha to walk down to theatre in, and found I didnt use my own dressing gown at all.
