Any tips?
Hey :)
I have my first consultation tomorrow and just wondering if anyone has any tips for me.
I've got a list of around 25 questions to ask, is there anything I should mention?
My aunt had breast cancer will that effect my chances of getting implants?
Xx

Re: Any tips?
Good luck for tomorrow Hun, pen and paper to write everything down. And regards things like placement ask why he feels that for you, as some surgeons are known ro just say well I prefer that placement rather than take into account your body x
And exactly what's covered in your aftercare x and how long etc

Re: Any tips?
Take pics of what size and shape you like to be too that can help, I went in with pics of the exact opposite of what I have now, a good surgeon can advise what is realistic and achievable and also what will look best for u x

Re: Any tips?
in terms of the breast cancer question, mention it to your surgen, i don't know if it will be an important factor or not but i know that with unders it's easier to do mammograms so he might factor it in if you're worried when deciding placement xx

Re: Any tips?
In that case the Pcc won't be able to answer any of the important questions nothing about size, placement, etc. it's littlery just a sales pitch x these ladies are NOT medically trained or have any medical background. X

Re: Any tips?
Ahhhhh..... Save your questions for the 'surgeon' babe. The patient co-ordinator is not medically trained in any way. They're sales women lovely and will just go through which procedure you're wanting, they'll choose a surgeon for you (telling you its the one they think best suits you, but its it'll just be the one the PCC favours or she's just filling the next slot, with no medical experience they have no idea which surgeon is best for you) and go through prices that's all babe. Xx

Re: Any tips?
Its confusing for most women going through this for the first time lovely and if you're naive you go in there thinking this woman giving you all this information really is medically trained and knows exactly what's best for 'you' they're that good lol. They're employed to be likeable and act as appoint of contact to keep you sweet babe, so remember that when you go... If you wanted to bypass the PCC consultation you could always call and ask if you could just see the surgeon or that time is limited and you want to see a surgeon on the same day. Xx
Re: Any tips?
I've only skimmed through so don't know if anyone's said this but definitely wear a white tight top if your going to try on implants xx

Re: Any tips?
Mine would be don't let them bully you into booking or securing a date with a deposit....those deals that are only available until the end of the week....they'll still be there.
Get all the answers to you questions, research your surgeon and ensure your happy with his credentials. Take pictures to show exactly the look and size you like as surgeons don't work in cup size so a d to you may look like a c to a surgeon.
Good luck and enjoy it x
