My lovely bf asked a question last night I couldn't possibly ask the Nuffield.... do you think he'll be able to take macdonalds into the hospital for me? Haha

had to laugh when he said it, but was a rather sweet thought, he said we'll be able to watch a movie and have our tea together lol :)

Aww that's sweet, yes he will. My hubby ordered a takeaway pizza for himself after I had my op, he ordered it to my room number!! Hysterical

I went down at 11 but wasn't back in my room til gone 1, I know I had some food after 2 and I was starving but before this was a bit woozy and just wanted water! Everyone is different tho hun xx

That's good I hope I'll be done longer than the hour op so him and my mum will have arrived by time I get back to my room :) got a feeling I be hungry, im usually always hungry lol I've only asked him to bring a kids meal with an extra large coke with ice! Xx

aw thats thoughtful of him. i went down at 3ish woke up at 5ish in room for 6 just as peter was arriving i think so he says anyway lol. was about to munch my supper and realised my left boob was swelling by the min they took it backnoff me incase i had a bleed and needed theatre was raging.lol xx

I'd say give it a bit longer, op can take over an hour recovery half hour to 45 mins, then once up in your room, you'll feel drowsy at first and not hungry, plus they'll want to see you drink first without being ick! X and thats if you go down at 5 as your later on the list could be pushed back slightly not saying you will but be prepared if they're running a bit behind x

And yes he was starving he has to eat every few hours due to his size and made the nurses laugh and my nurse who was pregnant even had a slice! X Hysterical

You probably won't feel like McD's, most people don't feel hungry after GA & coming round. My throat was so sore from where they stick the tube down your throat too, I just had a nibble of toast and some tea x

I thought I could have ate a horse when I came round, but as they had no tesco burgers I settled for tea and biscuits and that really filled me up. After a few hours I was hungry though and demolished a KFC.

Aaaw isn't that nice of him :) When i came round i could only manage water for a while & then a slice of toast a few hours later (think it was the morphine made me lose my apetite :/)

As for bf i found he'd bought the whole contents of the vending machine and hadn't left me anything! greedy (naughty word) hahahaha!!!
