surgeon said max 375cc ?

Hi girls

so i had my first consultation today at the hospital group, all went as expected although the surgeon said i was not able to go larger than a 375cc as my 30inch chest wall would not physically fit bigger. i was hoping for 400's.

just wondered if any of you have had similar feedback or if you have had bigger implants and are of a similar size to me.... pics would be great.

8st/112lbs
5.5ft

intending to get 375cc's high profile round, submuscular.

Hi chick, can't really help much but i can say that my consultant said i couldn't get more than 445cc (and i'm a 36 back), it is to do with BWD (mine is 14.5cm i think) so my implant can't be wider than that =] and 25cc off isn't too bad really is it?! =] measure it out in a rice boob and you will roughly see the difference x x x x

Your surgeon has advised you not to go bigger than your own body dimensions will allow to give you the very least risk of complication hun. With any BA there is always going to be the risk of complication and the bigger the implant the higher the risk.... Wanting to go bigger than your body will allow is just asking for trouble lovely.

But.... With this being your first consultation its ALWAYS advisable to have a few more, so you have a few surgery plans and surgeons to compare before making any definite decisions regarding your surgery. Xx

yes my BWD is only 10.5, i just hadnt realised there was so much emphasis on how large you can go depending upon this dimension.

Hi I'm similar stats to you 5ft4 8st size 6/8 and just had 325cc high profile unders I have a picture trail if you want to see. I was told 330 was my max and they prob wouldn't fit anyway so was well surprised to have 325ccs :-). What size do you want to end up?xx

ahhh thank you! would love to see your pics (how do i do that ha?)

i wanted to be a full D but have heard so many people say they wish they had gone larger as implants are not as big as what we see as standard sizes. so was hoping a DD pos, would not leave me dissapointed xx

I was only able to go to 360cc and even then my surgeon only just managed to get them in

I wanted a full c small d and currently im in a 34dd bra was a 32a to start xx

I wanted a full c not sure what size in goin to end up but am hoping be more than the original full c and more like a d! They don't look that big up close lol. I would trust your surgeons judgement, I'm sure you could achieve the size you want with the cc he is advising everyone is different and if you look at the stats pages you can see that!xx

hi i do have a pictrail but im not ready to show it to anyone yer, im just not 100% happy with my boobs and the way they look yet :( getting there though xx

Would deffo listen to what your surgeon recommends hunni :) I know you might feel a little annoyed about him saying no to the 400's but honestly hun there's hardly any difference between them and the 375's x x x

I was hoping for 410s but my surgeon said he wouldn't take me any bigger than 390 (and even that I had to push for as he originally wanted to go 365) as the risks of complication 'for me' with a larger implant would outweigh the benefits and not give as good a result. Xx

Thanks again girls, i will trust what they say... im glad to see its quite normal for them to be quite certain about not going bigger (even if its what the patient wants)

thats a shame tinkerbell... is it a personally opinion or a prob with surgery, do you mind me asking who you went with? xx
