Hi everyone,

So, I've sent a letter to HMG complaining about my service: Basically, I'm really happy with my boobs and the result. I'm really unhappy with the service I've received.

The main problem is that I haven't seen a surgeon since my op. I haven't been able to ask any of my questions of be checked that everything is ok (I think it is, they look ok to me!)

But also that the surgeon was running late at every appointment I had, including the date of the surgery.

I've received a response saying that they'll get back to me within 3 weeks but I don't really know what to expect. What do you guys think I should be looking to get?

A surgeon appointment now?

A £100 refund for the price of a surgeon appointment?

Vouchers?!

What would you want? I've been ringing the clinic regularly to try to arrange a Post op check, in August they told me my surgeon had left the company and that was that really...

Thanks girls

xx

I think you're absolutely right to complain hun. 7 months post-op and you've yet to have your surgeon check your healing!!! That's really not on at all.

I think I would expect some monetary compensation as well as an appointment to see the surgeon.

As part of the package you paid for, part of that was access to your surgeon. If that wasn't possible then they should have offered you another surgeon to check you over. You've had neither and therefore the contract has been broken.

I'd like to think you'd get monetary compensation hun, but I very much doubt it... I think you'll definitely get to see your surgeon, or another very soon, but compensation.... Hmmmm getting anything out of these clinics is like getting blood from a stone. Maybe a free treatment may be offered or something?

Do fight your corner though babe. It's terrible that the care promised has not been available to you. Stand strong with your point and push hard hun. I think you do deserve definitely to be compensated for sure and if its money back you want, then stick to that babe. Xx
