sensation! Empty sensation!

I am 10 days post op, and still SO itchy its not normal. cant wait to get the last of the bandages off, im sure im reacting to them.. but not badly enough to need them removed early. I literally have to stop myself twice or more a day from yanking them off!

Lefty is all covered and bandaged still cause of my two operations, but an exciting thing happened yesterday with righty! I took my bra off to look at the bruising with my hubby, and the nipple definitely stiffened! I am so excited to obviously have some sensation and reaction from it this soon, cause one of the biggest risks and downsides was nipple sensation loss for me. so yay! No idea if lefty will ever catch up after its trauma, but this has made me feel much more upbeat about long term recovery. :)

Really pleased you're a little more optimistic now Elizabeth. I really wouldn't worry at this stage in your recovery about numbness, it's very early and you do still have such a long way to go. It can actually take a year or more for full sensation to return, so as you can see, at just 10 days post-op you're only at the very beginning still hun. Xx
