Cold before BA

Hi all xxx

I have a cold...runny nose, blocked ears...

Will this affect my BA?? I am worried but I am guessing its only if I had a temperature
My BA is on thursday hopefully better by then, did anyone tell their surgeons/companies?

I.would just rest get some tea ... And keep dressed up warm ... If you feel.ok.id not say nothing .. But thats just me ...

Hi hun, your op is 4 days away which hopefully is enough time for you to be over the worse. Get some vitamin C inside you and keep warm. If your still really ill on the day then you should mention it but fingers crossed you should be fine. X

Vitsmin.c is wrong i.think.... I remember i had to.stop taking my vitamin stuff two weeks before
but try the herbal part . Maybe some tea against colds . But herbal... And. Just slrep.and drink as much as u can so ur body can.fight.it off quickly

I have waited for years for this...and researched too long....now I finally am ready and waiting....a bluddy cold is around....do you think its worth it going to docs to just get it confirmed that its only a little cold and nothing else...

lol your so right, I was so concerned with how to get rid of a cold I forgot why she needed to get rid of it!!!

Try not to worry too much Bouncy. Getting a cold right before a BA is extremely common. I think we can get ourselves so run down with nerves and this is the way it comes out.

Unless you have an actual infection you'll be absolutely fine babe. You're unable to take vitamin supplements on the run up to your BA, but you can get your vitamin C naturally, so a good cup of boiled water, squeezed lemon in it for the vit C and a good dollop of honey to help your throat is a great tonic babe. Drink plenty of fluids and get lots of rest and you should be just fine. xx

It's not necessary unless you have an infection Bouncy or you feel your airways are in some way obstructed. xx

Best to get some rest though and some nice hot honey and fresh lemon drinks down you, just to help build up your immunity. Almost there now! Cold before BA 773440
