HELP!! I have a cold

Hi ladies 
I started feeling a little under the weather last week & today I feel even worse, I’m at work & don’t think it’s appropriate to be taking sick leave just before I go off on “HOLIDAY” for a week and a half. I don’t really know what to do
I have been gargling with TCP (which I hate & I only do when I’m desperate and boy I’m I desperate)
I read in my information pack from the hospital that I’m not to take any anti-inflammatory’s etc. Not sure if I should phone them and ask if I am still able to go ahead with my BA but I am worried that they re-schedule my op & I have already put my leave in at work.
Totally stressing now

Awww hun, don't stress babe, you have a 'cold' you'll be fine! 
Unless it's felt your airways are very restricted or you have an infection, the op will go ahead hun.
The more you stress, the more run down you get and the worse you're going to feel babe.
Try diluting the the juice of one lemon in a glass of warm water and adding a teaspoon of honey babe - Take that twice a day.

Cols usually clear up after 3 days anyway babe so im sure you'll be fighting fit by Saturday :)

You will be fine chick you've got 4 more days yet to get better. Don't cancel yet just see how you feel as the week goes on xxx

id get in some of those actimel yoghurt drinks. Theyre great for boosting the immune system.

Thanks for the advice, I will try not to stress 
& will get honey, lemon & actimel on my way home & keep a low profile, no gym for me!!
