Blood on the dressing!?

Hi girls im having a panic!! i have just got changed into my night clothes and noticed one of the dressings has blood on it, it wasnt there earlier. Is this normal? Im worried xx

Hey hun, its normal to have a bit of oozing/blood on your dressings. I have on mine too and doctor said its ok. keep an eye on it but as long as it's not heavy bleed you should be ok. Try not overdoing things as this can make your wound weep. You can always call the hospital if you get worried hun x

I had a Little on mine but saw some pics were the dressings had quite a lot of blood. How you both doing today?

i was feeling fine but in a bit of pain now nothing terrible just taken some co-dydramol and they kick in pretty fast. xx

Ahhh I actually miss having an excuse to lie in bed eating chocolate and having my oh bring me fruit juice and meals while reading my books... Might feign some pain or something... ;)

Im trying to move about a bit more, i have to keep my sexy stockings on tonight. Boobs are Tight with swelling and not looking forward to getting to sleep tonight. pleased That's given u some comfort pammie. has it stopped now? Xx

There isn't anymore on there it has stayed the same. Last night I kept waking up hoping the night was over. Sleeping upright is rubbish. Hope u sleep well butterfly xx

Oh sweetie Im with you on that. Im a front sleeper usually. Do u have a v pillow, they make it a bit more baraeable xx

Mine was about the same as the night before woke up several times to reposition myself. The pain / aching has been constant all night and didn't really alter when I got up cause I think i am quite propped up I have 4 pillows and then the V one too. My head is killing too. Have u gone back to bed? I just too some pain killers and came back to bed. Xx

Im on the sofa hun. My hubby had to go back to work today and so Im waiting for my sister to arrive. I can't get up on my own once Im in bed so i can't lol.

Oh bless him. It is hard for them to, my hubby struggled going back today. He slept in the chair at the hospital so he's shattered. Hope your back lets up soon, its my bum That's killing me lol xx

I have got a really bad headache to I'm guessing thats from lack of sleep. The clinic just called and are having a compression band delivered today that I have to wear for 2 weeks xx

Oh no to the band. I've never worn one but heard there not great. headache can be blood pressure to hun so make sure you are resting and drinking plenty xx

Good girl, peeing alot is goodd hun, means you arnt retaining fluid. I have a gushing pulse noise in my head which is giving me headache. i know its because my blood pressure is low from blood loss but its driving me nuts. still very painful and swollen. I am wishing this week away so i can feel better asap lol xx
