Swimming at 7 weeks post op??? Empty Swimming at 7 weeks post op???

Post by Angelpie 4th February 2009, 1:44 pm

OK so I know I'm still pre-op at the moment... but we are going away 7 weeks after my op (nothing sunny or anything :-(... but the people we're staying with always take us to this lovely salt water swimming pool, and I was wondering if I'd be fit and able to join in? I'm having overs. What do you think?

Thanks. Angel xx

I'm hoping I can have the excuse to wear a swimming cossie and that I will be ok. It is a lovely pool. The town is built on salt mines and the salt that isn't graded for food use goes to the swiming baths. It's so much nicer than our chlorinated pools... the salt doesn't even sting your eyes.

I went on holiday about a month after my op and went swimming and everything with no problems (I actually went surfing mainly)

I had the all-clear from the nurse so that put my mind at ease.

I had overs too lovely
