Almost 6 weeks post op - can I? Empty Almost 6 weeks post op - can I?

I'm on holiday right now ladies and I'm desperate to get in the pool before I come home on Wednesday! I'm 4 days off being 6 weeks post op - do you think my incisions will be healed enough now to get in - I don't wanna risk infection of course but man it's hot out here lol!

So, yay or neigh??

What did your surgeon say? I wouldn't risk it personally, water is one thing but public pools are a whole other level of bacteria!! I'd say stay on the safe side, only go waist deep, you don't want to end up with a nasty infection on your hols.

I'm with Charli on this one & would only go in up to waist height or sit in pool at the shallower parts with only lower body submerged.

Thanks ladies, having a great time, factor 50 and a t shirt covering the boobs and only been in the pool to waist height. Home tomorrow though :-(

I'm 6 weeks on Friday and don't see my surgeon till I'm 7 & half weeks post op so I've not been able to ask him anything as yet - so thanks for the advice again, much appreciated :-)
