Compression band??

Compression band?? Empty Compression band??

Hi ladies,

I was just wondering if I would need a compression band as my friend has a compression band she used when she had her boobs done but she had unders whereas I am having overs? I've not been asked to get one or anything?

If you haven't been told so by your surgeon then I don't think you will, you can always ring up the clinic and double check though to set your mind at rest.

I also had overs and didn't wear one as I wasn't told to! Which I feel fortunate for because they don't sound very comfortable! nope X

In all my time on here I've not seen or heard anyone with overs having a band, not that they're never used, but its very rare.

Having a breast band depends on the individual, but is generally used for those with implants under the muscle to encourage the implants to drop due to the muscle being tight and compressing the implant, so the band acts to force the implant downwards.

Wearing one with overs isn't entirely unheard of though, for instance I had to wear a compression band as I had a bad bleed that needed stopping. xx
