Hi girls, currently in my hospital room waiting. Been here since 8am, I am sooo thirsty and starving! Been seen by nurse, anesthesist, surgeon & recovery nurse, just a waiting game now. I'm 4th on the list so due to go down to theatre at 3/4. Eeek! x

Oh sweetie I know how you feel! I was nil by mouth by 5:30am and didn't have my op til about 4:30pm and was starving!!! You'll be in recovery before you know it! Good luck! :) x

Thanks :) I couldn't have anything from midnight last night I'm shockingly starving and thirsty lol, the girl before me has just gone down and nurse said her op is about an hour so shouldnt be too long for now!x

Just got home :) I agree, Mr Hassan is an absolute star, I randomly started crying when they lay me down on the theatre bed and he was holding my hand along with the oher staff there! Everything went really well, he managed to fit in the 495's, I'm very sore though and can't wee properly, my bladder's gone lazy! I only woke up 5/5.30 yesterday evening though so hasn't even been 24 hours yet. Thanks for all your support girls, bye bye pip's (I have them in a plastic bag chilling on my kitchen table as we speak). xxx
