Muscle release with unders? Empty Muscle release with unders?

Post by spittingfairy 30th December 2011, 9:02 am

I'm 8 weeks PO now and all feels fine, they are softening nicely etc. Righty has started dropping down from the upper pole to lower, lefty hasn't.

But every morning when I wake up my righty feels sore, like I've pulled the chest muscle. I am pretty sure it's that,as the soreness goes higher than the implant does! When do the chest muscles relax? Will the D&F process only be complete after the muscle has relaxed?

Thank you!

wavey Definitely!! The muscle will have been pulled and stuff to create the pocket the implant is in during surgery, so the pain will be higher than the implant. Only when the muscles are stretched enough to be relaxed over the implant without being pulled tighter than it is used to will it feel normal, are you a lefty? May be why the muscles are tighter and not dropping as quick...using the side more often.

I'm no expert but that's what I have heard...sounds very normal to me. You won't fully d&f until your muscles are relaxed. That way the implant can sink naturally inside the pocket and fill the lower pole fully. xxxx Give You
