Re: January Buddies
I think we just have to bear in mind a lot of girls post on here specificallt to get advice on their concerns. If you look down the members list and the comments on their surgery, there's a lot of very satisfied girlies too xxx

Re: January Buddies
well said SarahMichelle.
gillmoo keep in mind that alot of ladies tend to not stick around after their ops when all goes well as one of the ladies on here rightly pointed out to me when i 1st joined so dont be put off hun
unfortunately some women do face complications but the majority dont and hun what i learnt on here was even those whos journeys dont run so smoothly would still do it all over again!
stay positive.xxx

I keep having wobbles too, and weird dreams have started too.
My other half has been great but I have discovered that it is much more useful vocalisiing wobbles on here as someone else has almost definitely been through it so you don't feel alone, rather than the blank look I get from my OH, lol!
Can't believe I am down to 1 month and 2 days on my ticker and my pre-op appt is next week!!

Re: January Buddies
Hi Mish!
Great to hear from you. It's nice to have somethIng to look forward to in January. What size are you now if you don't mind me asking.
I've grown up with quite busty friends and always been a bit jealous. Great to finally be doing something about it x

Re: January Buddies
It seems quite common that everyone stresses about if it will be big enough, especially when you concentrate on being bigger for So long. :) My surgeon told me not to get hung up on ccs because the numbers seem to go up in such big intervals. In reality 12 cc is the equivalent to a dessert spoon, so quite little really Xx

I can't wait for the time off either and not being allowed to do anything as I am normally cooking or cleaning etc when I am at home!
CUI is Allergan's "standard" implant I believe. The options were CUI or the Natrelle/Inspira but the Natrelle/Inspira are more expensive and my surgeon does not feel they have been around long enough to prove the claim that they are superior to the CUIs and as I have 10 years cover I went on his recommendation.
The CMH bit means it is a "Cohesive Gel Textured Surface High Profile" CUI Implant.
All these definitions are specific to Allergan as each brand have their own descriptions.
I month and 1 day - eeek!

Re: January Buddies
Hi everyone, Ive been for my2nd pre-op today and was a bit nervous in case my BP was too high, and yes, you've guessed, it was a bit too high!! But my lovely nurse let me off and so as long as my MRSA swabs are Ok I'm all ready for 3rd January. Im having my op in the private wing of the hospital were I work and walked past the entrance at lunchtime today just in time to see a lady being wheeled in, obviously on her way back from theatre... that will hopefully be me in two weeks time !! xx
