Re: Sleeping on your side ..
Heya dina! I've ended up on my side from about 2 weeks post op. To start with I tried to turn my back onto it's side but leave my chest facing upward the best I could (weird angle but helped the pressure on my back!) now I position my v pillow so I'm not actually laying on my boobs from the side, they are cushioned by the pillow, I did wake up on my front the other night too...not good! Xxxx

Re: Sleeping on your side ..
Hi,
It was about 3-4 weeks before I went on my side and my back felt like it was ready to snap. I found I had such a sore bum to lol, it used to go numb.
Good luck hun, it won't be long x

Re: Sleeping on your side ..
I found myself waking up on my side after a couple of weeks. I haven't had any problems, but I guess the general rule is if it hurts don't do it!

Re: Sleeping on your side ..
Everybody is different. I asked my PS when I could and he said at anytime I could. Your body will tell you what you can and can't do. So I have been sleeping on my side since day 5 post op and I'm fine. Best advise is ask your ps.

OOps - sorry hun I meant to say also, try propping a pillow under your feet and using a heating pad or hot water bottle under your back. It really does help!!
