bra measuring
hellooo
I posted the other day that i had a lump in my breast and today i had my scan. it turns out that i was wearing the wrong size bra and the bra i was wearing was pushing the implant so that i could feel a lump whenever i had a bra on, but in reality it was the edge of the implant pushing outwards.
I went to a high street shop which i wont mention, to get measured, and was measured as a 36D, a little over a year and a half ago, 6 months after my surgery. Today i decided to go to a privately owned shop where the lady specialises in mastectomy and other surgery bras, and got measured as a 32F. All the pain i had been feeling in my left breast has disappeared only in the 5 hours i have worn the proper sized bra. the funny thing is that the consultant at the breast clinic recommended that same high street shop today even after i told her that they were the ones who measured me wrong in the first place.
I just wanted to share this especially for the girlies who have more recently had their surgery and size is still a bit of a question mark. I spent a bit of money today buying the right bra but it is totally worth it as for the money i spent on my boobs, no bra is too expensive to keep them looking and feeling good.
xx

Re: bra measuring
OH my goodness! I;m so glad that you got remeasured! I get my BA on the 30th and I live in the US. I hope I'm able to find a place that will be able to measure me correctly!
Thank you so much for the heads up!
