sore nipples :(

its about a week after my BA and ive decided not to use pain killers cause it doesn't really hurt its just really tight the only thing now that i notice is my nipples are pretty sore to touch did any one else have this problem?

Hi hun, I have this problem too. Had mine done almost two weeks ago. I've been using lansinoh, I had some left after breast feeding. It seems to work OK xx

OUCH! Yes babe, many of us experience this. It's just the nerve endings healing and they can make your nipples ultra sensitive!

If you find they're very sensitive, then maybe try a round make-up pad, or some women prefer a breast feeding pad in your bra to cushion the nipple from rubbing on the bra material, the softness really does make a difference.

It does pass sweetness and not something you're going to be left with permanantly. xx

I had this problem too first time, hope I don't this time cos it was awful it felt like someone was resting sparklers on my nipples lol. I couldn't stand anything touching them and wanted to cut nipple shaped holes in my sports bra. Like Cookie says it does pass it just feels like forever one of the more annoying aspects of getting your new boobies but it shows you are healing and when it annoys you just think at least you have sensation some people don't get nipple sensation back poor things x

one of my nipples is really sensitive, me other boob, i cant feel anything in about a 2.5 inch perimeter around me boob ..... sad smile

i am 6 days post op and have incredible pain in my right nipple. The left one if fine. i cant even rest my pyjamas on my right one its so bad. i've tried the makeup pads but the only thing that relieves it is an ice pack oh and drugs. All worth it thought - I love my new girls :))))

I've had really bad sensitivity in my nipples as well, i'm 8 days post op, tried everything to stop them rubbing on my very attractive sports bras, make up pads, breast feeding pads, ice etc....My gran came down to see me yesterday and stuck savoy cabbage leaves down there, and it's actually helped loads ha! Not so sore now, apparently it's a pregnancy thing? Maybe give it a go? you look mental sat with cabbages down your top but it really does help! xxxx

Also! Cucumber on your nipples seems to work.
I sound like a right crazy lady, raiding my fridge to soothe my nipples or something! xxxx

Ive had the same problem it feels like someone is giving my nipples a chinese burn. Savoy cabbage leaves are fantastic, i used them after breastfeeding and they work a treat. x

mine are on fire too - glad I have the sensation back though, but OUCH!!!!
