Bust Measurements
Hey girls!
I finally bought a measuring tape and measured my self today. Haven't gotten properly measured yet, but am currently wearing a 34C. It feels like it is the right size.
So I measured the bottom and got 29 so + 5 = 34
But my fullest breast measurement is 34 as well
And according to the rules I'm a 34 AA
When I tighten it more on the bottom I can get 28 + 4 (even # should add 4 instead 5) = 32
That means I might be a 32 B
I know I'm still quite early post op. But I was hoping that I would be bigger. Although I am wearing a C cup and fight well.
What are you girl's measurements? Does it match what the "rules" say?

Re: Bust Measurements
Don't be disheartened hun, it's been proven that the measuring system has had women wearing the wrong sized bra for years! So ignore that measurement sweetie and wait till you're properly 'fitted', which means, no measuring, you'll be given a few different bras of differing sizes to try, then the one that best fits, on the back (you should fit to the tightest hooks on the bra), against the chest (the bones should lay flat), and the straps aren't to loose or tight, after being properly 'fitted' and not 'measured' I'm sure you'll have a pleasant surprise. xx

Re: Bust Measurements
I am not a professional but I think the way its done now is that if u measure a 29 around you wear a 30 so that would put you in a D or DD cup!
I agree you look great in your Avatar! x

Re: Bust Measurements
I too was wearing a 34 band but measured 29 when I got measured at shop I was told a 30 F but as I'd been wearing a 34 for so long a 30 felt too tight so I went for a 32E but not after a few weeks of adjustment a 30F feels and fits perfectly the system of adding 5 Is very old and is probably why so many of us wear the wrong size bras x

Re: Bust Measurements
Thanks for the kind words ladies!!
I'm in Canada. So I don't think we have that store here. But how long do you think I should wait before I get fitted? 6 months?
I'm glad it looks like a D / DD to some of you!

Re: Bust Measurements
I would say you are a 30d/dd I would go to a local bra fitters and ask if they can measure you.
Re: Bust Measurements
Not sure about Canada but if you were in the UK I would suggest you were a 30DD / 32D depending on make / shop x

Perhaps Le vie en Rose or can you get to a Victoria Secret?
They also have ladies who measure in The Bay.

Re: Bust Measurements
Ya I'm going to go to a store call Change. I feel that La Senza bras aren't as true to size as other brands.
Is it too soon for me to get fitted?
I want to buy so many bras!! But don't want to have to throw them out if my boobs change in a few months!

Re: Bust Measurements
Well according to wonder bra I am a 34C. It seemed to fit ok nut my boobs were sore and full of lines from the bra when I took it off. I went to Lasenza and had a fitting. She thought 34C would work but they are only guidelines. She wound up putting me in a 34D which fits perfect. Big difference having an actual fitting. You might want to get one.

I agree La Senza bras fit strange.
I wouldnt go buying to many bras as you are so early and your boobs will still change a lot and you may need a different style or size in a few weeks more time... I even changed bras at the 3 month mark.
