Is this ''lump'' normal? Empty Is this ''lump'' normal?

Post by kayla 23rd January 2011, 9:11 pm

I noticed a while back (when sitting on my sofa of an evening, on my laptop, and without any sexual intent, fondling my boobs, just because I have them!! ) a lump, bubbly kinda thing on the inside uppermost part of my left boob. In the cleavage area. It is more apparent in a push up bra, and more feelable if that's a word when my left arm is raised on the back cushions of the sofa.
Could this be the implant edge, even though this part on me is presumably the under part? Or should I be concerned? Will be booking an appt with the Dr tomorrow as I want a definite answer but if anyone else has a similar thing it would be a comfort!

Thanks ladies xx

You are doing the right thing in going to have it checked out hunnie - but it might just be a residual fatty globule which has been pushed to the surface by the implant.

Kayla I have just descovered the same thing this morning, I was just about to start a thread asking about it when I saw this!
I too have this lumpy bubbly kinda thing in the side cleavage area, but on both breasts!! It's kinda like if you imagine an evening primrose capsule under the skin right inside. I can't really see it until I take off my bra and push my boobs together slightly with my arms, then it looks like wonky cleavage kinda if you know what I mean?
Is this normal? Do I need to go to the clinic??

Sorry hun, I have no idea, maybe ask one of or both of the surgeons on here for their opinion. Hope it's nothing to worry about.
