Just got out the bath was bio oiling my scars and on the right one there is a little lump that feels like a hard pea? It's night underneath where my scar is pretty sure it wasnt there before as I moisturise everyday and not felt it before.

It'll be the knotted stitch hun, or a spitting stitch coming to the surface. Nothing to worry about, but do keep an eye on it.

Massage it as you normally would. Don't worry about hurting yourself its fine. The stitch should then come out through the surface... Hopefully it will come out all by itself. But if it doesn't, its best to just keep it dry and when your clinic opens just get the nurse to snip the stitch. The snip doesn't hurt at all and its done in a second.

But yes... They can come up as a hard lump at first before the stitch pokes through. Xx
