Underwire desire.... Empty Underwire desire....

Post by aj2305 12th November 2010, 1:31 pm

Hi Ladies,

Had my 3 week check up today. All going well and starting to LOVE them - at last. Was told though that I cannot wear an underwire bra until I'm 3 MONTHS post op!!! I'm not loving the soft bra I'm in. It's comfortable, but not very flattering as my boobies are quite pointy. Anyone else been told this regarding underwire bras? shrug

It was 3 months before I was able to wear underwires too hun, I feel the wait was worth it for me though, by the time I got measured I didn't change bra size again as they'd pretty much fully settled by that time. xx

If you are struggling to find nice flattering non-wired bras try taking the wires out of some normal bras. Just make sure is it supportive enough though hun!

Its frustrating isn't it having to wait. Cookie is absolutely right tho when she says that it is worth the wait. Bra's that I spent a fair bit of money early on post op don't fit properly now because of the extra changes. I really like these bra's ......
HERE from M&S. I know everyone is different but I find they did early on and still do give my boobs a good shape. They have a thick satin band as well which won't irritate scars.

Thanks ladies for all your replies. It is so hard to wait but your right, bras are SO expensive so I will be saving money by waiting. There are just so many beautiful bras out there which were previously only a dream for me.......I'll stop torturing myself and stop going through the lingerie section of department stores disappoint
